Manager, Marketing and Communications
MADJ Marketing LLC is seeking an experienced and creative professional to join the team as Manager of Marketing and Communications. Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate marketing role or advertising agency and be able to work independently.

As a smaller agency, our staff are required to posses a multitude of business skills and attributes, including:
Flexible Schedule - our hours are our client’s hours and that’s not always 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Be Social Savvy - We’re a social media leader in the region and this position will require a lot of social media administration, planning and copywriting. experience setting up advertising campaigns on social is a major plus!
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator - you don’t have to be an expert but knowing your way around the programs in a pinch is ideal.
Adaptability to Change - projects and deadlines change by the second around here. We need you to be able to adapt, overcome and get the job done.
Be a Proven Leader - Be outspoken when needed. Be polite and courteous to others. But most importantly, be able to take charge in any given situation and make game-changing decisions on the fly.
An Eye for the Details - We’re a creative bunch in a creative industry. We need you to be the same and tell us when you have an idea that might work better and why without hesitation.
Quick Study - We can’t possibly know everything about every industry but having the ability to research and learn about the newest widget on the market and then write a 24 page catalog about it in two days is a must-have attribute.
Be a Local - Many of our clients are within an hour’s drive of Reading, PA and we prefer you to be as well in case we need you to stop by their office to say hello.
The Manager, Marketing and Communications, will have several responsibilities but the main requirements include:
Day-to-Day Client Contact as a Project Manager
Copywriting for brochures, flyers, etc. for any given industry, from healthcare to industrial manufacturing.
Social Media Planning, Integration/Scheduling, Research and Copywriting
Production/Traffic Manager for print project, promo items, etc.
Proofreading client projects
