NEW YEAR. NEW WEBSITE. BERKS COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY PARTNERS WITH MADJ TO OVERHAUL THEIR ONLINE PRESENCE.
Berks County Medical Society (BCMS), founded in 1824, was established to promote and protect the art and science of medicine for physicians right here in Berks County so they can provide the highest quality, patient-centered care. Additionally, they strive to provide physician, hospital, and health-related information to the members and residents of Berks County.
In early 2019, BCMS approached MADJ Marketing requesting a website redesign. Their website at the time was outdated and needed an overhaul to make it more visually appealing and user friendly. The existing site contained a plethora of outdated information that was no longer essential to their members or the public. Plus, there was a surplus of new and exciting information and media that they wanted to share online, including new episodes of their popular Health Talk series, a medical series that discusses medical conditions and hot topics in the field of healthcare, and the Berks County Medical Society Medical Record, a quarterly magazine publication covering healthcare stories in Berks County and beyond. Additionally, new and exciting community and Society events will be coming soon so we also included the addition of an events calendar.
After the initial discovery meeting, we went to work creating a new website featuring a clean and minimalist design that focuses on the Society’s most important initiatives. The homepage has been redesigned to improve user experience, making it much easier for visitors to find exactly what they’re looking for. The new site operates off of a simple content management system, making it easy for the Society to make updates on their own whenever needed. The site also utilizes a mobile-optimized design aesthetic to increase the user experience across multiple devices.
